TABLE CENTRES

A table centre with a difference! Hidden inside the floral arrangement is a special type of ‘cold’ firework.  

When activated by remote control a fountain erupts from the table centre producing a column of silver sparkles approximately a metre high which burns for almost a minute, to the surprise and delight of your guests.

The basic table centre unit is supplied ready for your florist to work on. The top of the unit provides a ten-inch diameter, two-inch deep waterproof recessed area into which the oasis is placed. A space must be left in the oasis to drop over the central tube that holds the pyrotechnic effect. The lower part is used to conceal the remote control firing unit.

An aerial is fitted to the unit and is used to hold a table number card. Each unit is finished in gloss white.

The pyrotechnic effects used in these table centres produce a silver fountain effect for approximately fifty seconds.

The sparkles produced by the fountain are of the “cold fire” type and are therefore safe to use in this manner.

  As an additional safety measure, the units are only used on ten to twelve seat tables, or in a position such that seated guests cannot reach over the centres. Where this is not possible, an additional extension is fitted which raises the effect out of reach. The units are fired by remote control, which allows any number of units to be fired simultaneously.

  Please note that for safety reasons the units will only be fired if the operator can see each unit. It is therefore necessary to ensure that all guests are seated at the appropriate time.

  All prices quoted include delivery on the day by our operators who will rig and fire the table centres. Insurance cover is also included. Flowers are not included, but can be quoted for if required. Where required, the table centres can be delivered to your florist or the venue a day before your event, please specify if early delivery is required as this will incur an extra cost.
